My pseudo-roommate (though not pseudo-talented) Sonya was playing a beautiful song of hers and I asked about the odd tuning she had her guitar in.
She handed me the guitar, gave me some quick guidance and within minutes we were playing and singing an early version of Want Me. This song came together quickly and felt different than any other song I had ever written. First of all the title is pretty pretentious if I say so myself, and to clock in at over 5 minutes, yikes!
That being said...I love it, and it feels right the way it is. I needed to write this song. I hope you can spare the 5 minutes it takes to indulge me!
